My paintings are composed by numerous layers of acrylic paint until it is dynamic and well balanced. The layers are made up by applying different marks such as lines, arcs, as well as a wide range of gestural brush strokes. These works are abstract and non objective. I make paintings that have no representation in them because I want to focus on color contrasts and spatial relationships of the composition. I am interested in this way of painting because it allows me to create a space purely out of intuition and training.
